Fibigeriana Supplement. Volume 5. (2025)

The Heterocera Press Ltd proudly announces the 5th volume of the Fibigeriana Supplement series. This volume includes 12 articles dealing with the taxonomy and biogeography of different Palaearctic Noctuoidea genera. These articles contain the descriptions of altogether 27 new species and 7 new subspecies, designations of two neotypes and more than a dozen of lectotypes, and the establishment of several new statuses and new combinations.

The speciality of this volume is the high proportion of the novelties found in Europe including, for instance, some of the new results of the Fauna Ibérica: Noctuoidea project and the revisions of such enigmatic genera as Janthinea, Stemmaphora, Isochlora and Leiometopon. 

The fifth volume of the series is published on 266 pages, the colour illustrations are composed onto 41 plates in A4 size. The genitalia of the discussed taxa are shown on 213 black and white figures.

The book is warmly recommended to all professional and non-professional lepidopterists whose are devoted to maintain and develop collections and are intended to study the extreme diversity of the Eurasian Lepidoptera.
